I am unable to access the modem to change my Wi-Fi settings.
I've tried it on several browsers and they all turn to show that my internet access is blocked.
How can I fix this?

Type 192.168.2.1 in your browser while connected to your modem wifi.....if you cant, connect to your modem with an ethernet cable. Your password admin password should be your modem serial # or admin. This will get you to your modem settings.

I would try a factory reset.....not sure what modem you have but if its a home hub 3000, you can hold the reset button for 30 seconds. Be sure you have your B1 # and password.....you can get or change that from your Bell online profile (mybell.bell.ca).
When you launch your browser after the factory reset, it will ask you to complete the Bell Wall garden setup......if it doesn't pop up, you can trigger it by going to wgp.bell.ca
You will need to enter your B1 credentials which will be then pushed to the modem once the process is completed.

Hi, I know you've got answers to reset your modem but you say you are blocked by a firewall. Are you working from home on a VPN while trying to connect? Your VPN will block it, if you are and just need to turn it off first before you can access your modem (this is my problem regularly). Depending on the wifi settings you want to make, you can also do a lot of the day-to-day wifi management in the Bell WiFi app.

Try bell.ca/mymodem instead of 192.168.2.1
You likely have your DHCP address range for wifi set for 192.168.5.1 as first assignable IP address. Or you are logged into the guest account.

Thank you for your reply.
I've tried both of the methods you've mentioned, and it still doesn't show the page to login.
I'm also not sure why my screenshot isn't showing here, the browsers basically say that my internet access is blocked by a firewall or something.

May I ask if the B1 # & password you are referring to, are shown under the service profiles in my profile?
I have an internet User ID that starts with B1, and something called an internet access password.
If you could please confirm that these are the ones I can try the factory reset method. Thank you very much.

Hi!
I recently got new Fibe 50 service and a new modem (Home 3000). After getting activated, I did changed the admin password on the modem, then changed the name of the main WiFi network and set up the guest network. As soon as I did that, I was unable to access the modem any more to change other modem settings. I can still *use* either network just fine but I can't access the modem from my laptop, which is connected via WiFi (and shows the names of the networks I set up but not the original name chosen by Bell). (I can still print wirelessly from my printer provided it is on the same network as the laptop.)
I discovered that my ethernet-connected desktop PC I have in the basement *can* access the modem but I'd like to be able to do it from the wireless-connected laptop. Is that possible? If yes, how do I do it?
For what it's worth, I used to do DSL support back in the day and I know that the Windows ipconfig command will tell you the default gateway, which should get you to the modem. The default gateway on my laptop is 192.168.5.1, NOT the normal 192.168.2.1 for Bell internet. The default gateway on the ethernet-connected desktop remains 192.168.2.1. I have tried accessing 192.168.5.1 on my laptop but it just times out as does 192.168.2.1.
I don't want to make too big a deal out of this but the ethernet connected desktop will get retired before too long and it would be nice to be able to configure my modem from my laptop without having to drag it downstairs and connect it via ethernet.

bell.ca/mymodem didn't work and I timed out just as I did previously trying to get to the modem.
I was indeed on the guest network; when I switched to the main network, I was able to get to the modem from my laptop just fine! It hadn't occurred to me that it made a difference which network I was on.

Yes, you can access your modem from your laptop as long as it is equipped for wireless Wi-Fi capabilities.
I am somewhat limited in providing the "How to ..." without knowing the equipment & operating system you do have. Can you provide us with some specifics:
- Which operating system are you using on your laptop?
- Does your laptop support wireless?
- You need to have access to your Primary Wi-Fi network. If you changed the name of your Wi-Fi network, did you also change the password? Check this first.
- Please confirm both of these before proceeding
- Forget any previous Wi-Fi home network settings that you may have tried to establish.
- Turn your computer Wi-Fi Newtwork off, then on.
- Select your renamed Wi-Fi Network from the system tray of your computer.
- Select your current Wi-Fi network & enter your password.
Does your laptop support an ethernet connect? If so, you can simply connect by ethernet cable and continue to use your laptop rather than your PC.
