When typing in a new outgoing email, the Auto-Save function kicks in every so often. Every time it does, my cursor gets reset to the start of the email while I am typing. I then have to cut what I just wrote and paste it back to the line I was originally on. Very annoying. Started to happen in the last couple of months when the last major update of Webmail came out.

Hi there @RalphA,
Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community.
Can you share which browser you are using, and if this happens each time the email draft auto saves?
You can modify the webmail settings, and choose to manually save your draft instead. Simply go to Settings > Mail, and select manually, or your desired timeframe in the drop down menu beside Auto-save email drafts.
Let the Community know if you are still having any trouble.

Thanks for the tip on saving manually. This will work for now. However, this should be fixed because the function is very useful, but the implementation seems buggy. I experience this on Chrome (which is up to date.) I haven't tried it on other browsers so can't tell you if it is also a problem there.

You are very welcome @RalphA,
Can you please clarify if this occurs every time the draft auto saves or randomly?
If you have a chance to test on a different browser please let us know the results as well.

Patricia, It seems I can no longer reproduce this. The Interface on Chrome now tells me when it was last saved - which it never used to do. The only setting I changed was that I set Autosave to manual for a few days, and now I have set it back to Every One Minute.
I tried on Edge as well and saw no issues there.
For the record, the problem I had seemed to be every time it Autosaved.

Unfortunately, it seems I was too quick to dismiss this issue. I am getting this problem again. I am seeing this on replies to some emails only. Not sure why some emails and not others. Not sure what additional information I can provide to help diagnose this issue.
This occurs on Chrome and Edge.

Hi @RalphA,
Thank you for keeping us up to date.
We do want to dig into this a bit deeper.
If you change the Autosave time frame to more than one minute does this still happen?
What type of device are you using, and do you notice this happen on any other device where you access Bell webmail?
Is it affecting a certain address that you email regularly, or is there something that may stand out such as a large attachment or anything else?

Near as I can tell, it has to do with images that are now being blocked in the originating email. If I unblock the image, then reply to the email, The Autosave acts up as I described. I have taken a screen capture of this issue using Game Box bar that I can send to you if there was a way to do so.

It doesn't seem to allow uploading a videos from one of my folders. The video button only allows URL references. Is there any other way? They are large files - 47-48MB.

Hey there @RalphA,
The option to upload a video is not available. However, we'd still love it if you can share any photos that may help our team investigate.

Here is a screen capture of an email that I was replying to. The fact there was an image in it may be a red herring, but it definitely happens with several emails that I try to reply to. As you can see in the picture below, the mail started with "Hey hows it going.", the cursor reset itself and lost a few characters, and then resumed typing at the beginning of the line. The characters it lost were "cursor re". Notice the font size is different as well.

When typing a new email the cursor jumps up to the 1st line of the email. This has been happening for a while. It sometimes happens just once or twice but last night it must have happened more than 20 times. Assuming it might be static I turned off my touch pad and just used my mouse. That did not help and the cursor continued to do this for the rest of the long email.

So it appears that there is no solution to this issue with the cursor jump? If RalphA wrote in February and this is still happening for me in December what am I to do? You have have had no response on using different browsers for Bell.net email. I currently use Chrome. I guess I will have to try Edge and Firefox for you to be sure.
I too am having issues with telling what font and font size is set for my email. Where do I get to choose this. The size I was using before is now too large but if I choose something different it is too small to see to type.
