Good afternoon @Jenky,

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community.

The Community needs a bit more information in order to help.

Can you share exactly what happens when you try to download Bell McAfee, and which steps you are taking to download? What type of device are you using, and have you tested on any other devices?

We also recommend checking out this support article How to activate and install McAfee Security from BellOpens in a new tab or window

The minimum system requirements for Bell MacAfee are listed here.

Windows 11 comes pre-installed with Microsoft Defender, and can interfere with installations of other packages. It's not a good idea to install 2 virus scanners on top of each other. In my opinion, there's no need to install MacAfee on a Windows 11 system, but that is just my opinion.

Hi there @Frustrated11
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community?
Whereas it's sending you back to the internet overview page, it sounds like you don't have McAfee included in your package. When you login to your MyBell profile, select your internet service and then select "Change features" and select "Security". Are you subscribed to either McAfee Best for $10.00/month or McAfee Better for $5.00/month? If one of these options are not selected and included in your plan, you will not be able to download McAfee.
Looking forward to hearing back.

Where it says click to download file to begin installation there is no file to download

Hi @Jenky,

We still need a bit more information in order to assist, and we invite you to refer to all of our questions, and support article in the post above.

Also, is there an error message, or is the download button not visible? Don't hesitate to share a photo of what you see so the Community can check it out.

Looking forward to your reply.

McAfee won't download.  Click 'Download McAfee' button while logged in to MyBell Account.  Just keeps sending me back to my 'Internet Overview' page.  I am on my 2-month old Lenovo laptop running Windows 11.  I have uninstalled my previous antivirus software and tried the following:

1) Disarm Windows Defender.

2)  Allow 'Pop-ups and Redirects' temporarily.

3) Same results (fail) on BOTH Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.

I had free trial version of McAfee on this laptop (included with PC purchase) which I already uninstalled fully.  I was running virus software provided by my prior ISP provider until this morning. I uninstalled with intent to download Bell's McAfee. I just joined Bell last evening. Just want to get McAfee installed.  Shouldn't be this painful.

Thank you BellNick.  This solves the the issue.  Guess McAfee is not part of my current bundle.  I signed up for Internet 50 and assumed McAfee was still included in the internet bundle.  Assumption is the mother of all mess ups.

My bad.  Thanks again.

McAfee Security will not activate and link to download does not work.

Caught in an endless loop that will not allow me to input Bell login and forces me into a paid subscription

How do I do above?

Thanks for your question. According to the Bell FAQ on McAfee

"It is no longer possible to activate the Good package as of September 13, 2024."

Your only option is a paid subscription.

Good Day.

The Good Bell McAfee package is no longer available as of September 13, 2024. Customers who already had the free Good package included with their internet (prior to Sept 13, 2024), will keep the service until they decide to modify their Internet package.

If you are interested in McAfee Security through Bell, you will need to subscribe to McAfee Better or Best.

New customers signing up after Sept 14th are given the option to choose if they wish to subscribe to the Better or Best package at a monthly cost of $5/$10.

Thank you for posting your question.

Take care.

I’ve been a Bell Internet customer for over 20 years and kept trying to activate with no results. Recently I checked in at Bell store to add mobile service and they told me service was still included.

Good Day.

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community once again.

If it was added to your Internet account prior to Sept. 13,2024, then yes, the Good Bell McAfee package is included. To verify that it is part of your Internet service, login to your MyBell web account with any web browser. Scroll down & select Internet. Select > Manage my package and features. If it is included with your Internet, you will see on the left side of the page in the Package section under Features

Security - $0.00/mo.   McAfee Security - Good   Download

FYI Only. The Good Bell McAfee package does not support Mobile devices.

Take care.
