Wi-FI speed limitation

I have a 1.5 Gbps fibre internet. Speed test shows the speed from the Internet to modem is 1560mbps, but from the modem to my device is only 400mbps. My PC is the latest Alienware with Wi-Fi 6 adapter. How can I get the full speed of 1.5 Gbps on my computer? 400 mbps is unacceptable for only 1-2 devices connected...

Wi-Fi is not the way to go if your main objective is receiving the highest speed possible.  Connect your laptop to a modem with a high rated ethernet cable (Cat 6 or higher).  400 mbps on a laptop using Wi-Fi is not surprising or a bad result.  Keep in mind there are so many factors that could impact the Wi-Fi speeds.  Distance between modem and device, environmental interferences, devices age and performance, number of connected devices and other factors can all impact the speed.  I think the main benefit from having a higher mbps plan is the ability to accommodate more devices rather than benefiting just 1....I dont think you will ever get 1.5 Gbs with Wi-Fi but that's my humble opinion.

A wifi connection will not give your device the download rate being delivered to the modem.

I assume your PC has an ethernet port. Connect it to a port on the modem with an ethernet cable. Run a speed test again. You'll see an improvement.

What type of connection are the others, and what are they?

Test internal 1.62G - this is I could test on my LAN is 100G. But reality is only 130K (before I test around 300K), what the heck is this (Bell gatekeeper play the trick). I might quit of this deep cheating and recently connection disruption too much. Cost more day after day.

What type of connection is the computer you are testing this from using?
