Not sure what's going on with Bell lately but trying to watch youtube has just turned into a constant buffering nightmare.
I've been trying to sort out what it might be as it's almost unwatchable with devices especially on WIFI the past 2 weeks or so.
Turns out I'm not the only one as I found this reddit post https://www.reddit.com/r/bell/comments/zlgneb/youtube_buffering_lately_any_device_in_home_any/
You can give me all the speed in the world but when I can't even watch a youtube video at 1080P without it freezing and turning it down to as low as 360P, what's the point?
I would say maybe it's a Youtube issue but from what I've seen around here it just seems to be a Bell Network/routing issue or something.

Can confirm that the issue is resolved.
I had this issue since Sunday and I'm a resident of Quebec. Using a VPN was a good work around.

I'm still seeing this issue today. Exactly how you all described it, from Québec City as well.

I have been having issues with stuttering on youtube on my hardwired PC. Have great speed test, no reason why youtube should be stuttering/buffering. Wasn't on prior ISP, but ever since change to bell fibre it has been like this.
Attached are two speed tests right around when i noticed the issue.
Thanks for the help

It has happened both, appears that for some reason it has fixed it self this morning. No idea what changed but doesn't seem to be buffering/stuttering like it was prior.

We recently switched from cable Internet to Fibe internet. It didn’t bugpffwrnbefore the switch but now does all the time. YouTube is now painful to try and get through. Did you find a solution from Bell

My speeds are good….400 down, 300 up. But watching YouTube on any device is horribly interrupted. What’s the point in getting super Fibe if it doesn’t work as well as my cable internet did?

Could be buffer bloat. Try a test here with a connection that is as free as possible from internet traffic. The results will be skewed if you perform the test "under load".
