why is my raspberry pi IP being blocked?

My raspberry pi has a reserved IP address. I can go online with it via wifi no problem but when I try to ping it’s IP address from another computer in my LAN it’s not seen? I tried shutting off my Firewall temporarily and that didn’t help. On the pi side SSH is installed so that’s ok.

any ideas?

btw, I’ve got a Bell Giga Hub modem/router

Seems to be a common issue: ping

Try a tracert, to ensure it's path is seen.

I do not believe you can ping from LAN to WiFi on the giga hub.

Trace only says ‘request timed out’.

I can ping any other device in my network so somethings up with my Raspberry Pi. If I can’t ping it that means I can use FTP or SFTP and that’s the problem
