Hi,

I have a cell tower on a property that could be leased to add a bell antenna and was wondering if I could get the contact info for the department that deals with this?

Hi,

I have a tower on a property that I would be willing to lease out to bell and was wondering if I could get the contact info for the department that deals with this?

Thanks in advance

We have no cell service at our cottage.  As part of the EORN project a new Rogers tower is currently being installed.  Who do I contact at Bell to put a dish on the new Rogers tower?

Good question. Those agreements are between carriers. Have you looked at your location on a cell tower map to see where the nearest Bell/Telus cell is located? Much depends on factors such as radio spectrum availability and other technical issues. Bell does not share cell site plans for competitive reasons. However announcements of cell site construction can often be found in municipal council minutes. Check with and watch your municipal council web site. Towers are also built and owned by third parties and not cell service providers, as well.

So, my question is - who or what department do the residents in the area contact at Bell to convince them to put a dish on a Rogers tower?  Trying to find the people/department with that responsibility within the Bell oligarchy is beyond frustrating.  We don’t need another tower, we need a Bell dish on the new Rogers tower.  I thought, maybe naively, that if enough pressure (ie., leave Bell for Rogers) is put on Bell they might agree.

Thank you for the clarification. To the best of my knowledge there is no place or office to contact to make such a request. Such decisions are incredibly complex in terms of the engineering required, of mandatory regulatory procedures and even equipment availability. I have been told, anecdotally, that putting up a cell tower can take up to two years. Bell does not talk about their future plans. Any changes will be announced when they are announced.

Again, sorry .. I am not looking for Bell to put their own tower up .. just put a dish on the Roger’s tower which will be “live” for Rogers customers within a couple of months.

Again, as this is a peer to peer forum, we have no way of accessing Bell's corporate or network engineering side. There is no "department" or "person" anyone can contact. I'm sure that is frustrating, but until or unless a cell site goes live, there isn't much more anyone can do.

How do I move forward with applying to have a cell tower installed on my property?

Who would I contact to offer a location for a cell tower on my property? Reception in my area is poor to non-existent although not in a particularly remote location.

Any advice would be appreciated.
