Hi there, @DougS. Welcome to the Bell Community.

Did you get your new iPhone from Bell, or did you buy it directly from Apple or through a third party seller?

If the former, your new phone will come with a new SIM in the parcel. When activating your new phone via MyBell, the old SIM will automatically be deactivated and replaced with the new one. There will be no change in your phone number.

If the latter, yes - you can continue to use your old SIM.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Got a new phone and a new Sim. I tossed all boxes so I don’t have the imei number or whatever it’s called. So I’m just using the old Sim. Is that a problem? How do I use the new sim without the number needed?

The IMEI number can be found on the silver sticker on the back of your phone, under the battery pack, or on the box your phone came in. You can also display the IMEI number on the screen of your mobile phone or smartphone by entering *#06# into the keypad.

Should I use the new sim card or transfer the sim card I have currently (S21 -> S23 Ultra)

Hey all,

So I recently upgraded to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Popped my SIM card from my S10+ in the new phone and it worked fine. Until I went into MyBell. There was a notification that said my device had arrived and it asked if I wanted to swap on there, and I did just that. Now there's an error saying "SIM 1 not provisioned" when it used to work just fine. I tried putting it back in my old phone to no avail as well. Did it just die? I tried just about every fix on the internet short of contacting Bell themselves (which I cannot do, as I have no service!) as it's three in the morning. Any advice on this end?

Should've gotten a new Sim with your phone. Use that. If it doesn't work, you'll have to get a new Sim.

I received a new upgraded phone and the transfer from the old one worked well until I activated the new device on Bell.ca.  Now I can't access the network.  What's going on ?

Bell activated my new phone, which I am currently using (with my old SIM card) and now I cannot work my phone (unless it's something on wifi). I cannot find the NEW SIM card that came with my phone. HELP!
