Hi there, @Pierre050. Welcome to the Bell Community.

What messaging app are you using? Google Messages, iMessages, or another third party app?

For Google Messages, you may need to clear the app data. Do note that this will not delete any existing messages. You could also simply try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

For iMessage, you may have the Filter Unknown Senders feature enabled. You can disable this by going to Settings -> Messages -> Filter Unknown Senders. Disable this, restart the app and/or your phone, and then check again to see if there are still unread messages.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hey there @boomer

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

In order for the Community to best assist, some clarification is needed;

  • How are you normally listening to your voicemail?
  • Does the number continuously go up or resets itself eventually?
  • Have you tried to leave yourself a voicemail from a different line and listen to it to see if it resets the notification?
  • What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

I have the same issue but to clarify it’s the voicemail indicator. It indicates that I have X voicemails but when I call voicemail it says that I don’t have any. This is continuously happening. How to make sure that voicemail indicator accurately reflects the number of voicemails I have?
