I recieved an email from bell with order number and tracking number for a sim that i never ordered. I found that tracking number to be valid with the carrier website. However when i called bell customer care they could not validate the order number. The email had my home address mentioned correctly. I am freaked out. I am an old bell customer but my bell profile didn't showed any recent orders when i checked. Went ahead and removed my credit card info from my bell profile immediately.

Good Day @Wr04124
This email did not come from Bell. It was a fraudster trying to scam your account. You confirmed this with your call to Bell.
Did you reply to this email or select any weblinks that may have been included? Never share any personal information with anyone you do not know or trust! Do not open web links or messages in emails or text messages!
If you feel that your MyBell account has been compromised, I suggest that you change your MyBell account password. I do not see anything in your message suggesting that your credit card has been used to purchase a device.
All of the other details that you mention can be easily obtained or fabricated by a fraudster.
He most definitely wants your credit card number & additional personal information. He is trying to bait you in to providing this information. You did the right thing in contacting Bell. There was no order.
It is also just as important for all of us to monitor our credit card purchases online throughout the month rather than waiting for our month end statement.
Please have a look at the following:

Thank you for your diligence. You did the right thing by removing your credit card information. You would be wise to check with your card provider as well, to find out if you have any unauthorized charges. I have also flagged your post for Bell staff to respond.

Kudos to you for noticing this anomaly! This email did not come from Bell. It was a fraudster trying to scam your account. You confirmed this with your call to Bell.

Fraudsters & scammers today do this by masking their name & number & impersonating a supplier. They are hoping to fool you in to believing they are authentic. They want you to share some form of personal information that will allow them to steal from you. This can be accomplished by way of a phone call, email or text message, web link, etc.
Reputable companies such as Bell, banks, utilities & highly regarded services & institutions do not send you messages or make calls such as this! They do not call you asking to provide personal information.
Never share any personal information with anyone you do not know or trust! Do not open web links or messages in emails or text messages! Just hang up and / or delete the email! Please check out the following:
There is nothing wrong with being overcautious these days. Thank you very much for sharing your experience with everyone in the Bell Community.
Take care.

I recieved email today confirming order has been delivered. I checked the shipping tracker it showed delivered to some different location. I again called Bell customer care and fraud department. They still were not able to find the order number in the email . They also checked my old customer profile but did not find any order. Very strange.
