I have an opportunity to get an S23 Ultra from a friend who is with Rogers. Will that S23 Ultra work on Bell?

I'm looking to replace my S9+ with the global version of the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, and while I know some frequencies are missing, most are there, and I was wanting to know if the important things like VoLTE will work or Vo5G, or what other things I may lose out on.
1TB phones are a must without expandable storage, unfortunately, as I spend a LOT of time out of cell service, and need the storage space for media, lol.

Bell does not sell nor support the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro. I can only suggest that you reach out to the manufacturer to discuss compatibility issues. ASUS Canada does not list this product. It is available internationally. I can only suggest doing a lot more research before purchasing. It is not 5G compatible.
I have included the following web links from the ASUS:

I bought a flip phone at the Bell kiosk. It is older tech and has terrible reception. Can I buy a new unlocked 5g cell from amazon and get a new sim card from bell for it? I want to buy a phone outright and not pay payments.

Yes, but I would avoid Amazon. What you are doing is called BYOD or Bring Your Own Device. There are plans for that. You can buy phones entirely from Bell or other retailers. I bought my own iPhone from Apple directly and easily transferred my old phone to my new one.

Before proceeding on your purchase, please have a look at your mobility agreement. You mentioned you bought a flip phone from Bell at a kiosk. Is this phone currently under a SmartPay 2 yr. contract? Does it include the DRO option? Is your flip phone paid off in full?
Which mobility plan do you presently have with Bell? Monthly or Pre-paid.
If it is under contract, you may change your plan to one of Bell's available Bring Your Own Device plans and pay your device in full, with a one-time payment on the following invoice, ending your device financing. arrangement.
Please check out this web link: What is Bell SmartPay?
Have you discussed this Bell Mobility? If not, then I would suggest that you do so before proceeding.
Take care.

Good Day.
Bell does not sell nor support the ROG 8 Phone. I can only suggest that you reach out to the manufacturer to discuss compatibility issues. ASUS Canada does not list this product. It is available for purchase at retail suppliers.. It is not supported by the major carriers in Canada. VoLTE is activated by default on the ROG Phone 8, what can happen if you use VoLTE, there will be disconnections.
Please refer to the following web link that explains & discusses device requirements for VoLTe.
How to use Voice and Video over LTE : What is Voice and Video over LTE (VoLTE)?
Take care.

It is not activated by default. I have to enter a code. The manufacturer says My provider, which is Bell, needs to register my ROG phone 8 for VoLTE. Right now my VoLTE Is activated on my end.

Good Day.
I wish there was something further I could do to assist you. As I mentioned in two previous replies, this is not something that can be addressed on the Bell Community Forum. Bell does not sell nor support the ROG 8 Phone.
I am confident that a moderator will pick up on this thread & pass on your question to the appropriate developmental group for review & consideration.
Please contact Bell Mobility Customer Service at: 1 800 667-0123 or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device. You can request to speak to a member of the Bell Management Team.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.
