Receiving emergency messages from another location

My phone is recieving alerts from another location, not from where I’m located, how do I fix it

Thank you for your question. Can you give more information, please? What kind of phone do you have? What is the nature of the alerts? Are they associated with a specific program?

Which mobility plan do you have? Is this a Pre-paid plan? Is your account topped up? Are you able to make any calls? If so, are you using Wi-Fi calling? Have you updated your emergency location?

Have you checked on MyBell & verified that your service is still activated?

This can also be a result of a number of different things, however the majority of the time it's simply due to your phone randomly disconnecting from the network. A quick fix is to fully power off your phone and wait a few minutes and power it back on again.

If after checking all of the above & you are still experiencing issues, I would contact Bell Mobility Customer Service by calling: Dial #321 from a Bell device or call 1 888 537-9999
