S21 E-SIM: "SIM Card Manager" not showing up

Hi,

I have a Samsung S21 Ulta +5G originally purchased on a Rogers plan for 2 years before switching to Bell.

I would like to use the ESIM feature that my phone is capable of but I believe it Is disabled/locked by the carrier Bell/Rogers.

My device is unlocked but the "SIM Card Manager" still doesn't show up. Is it possible for Bell to unlock this feature for me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Regards,

Nathan

Hey there @Npaes12

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

That's an interesting questions and the Community will be happy to help where we can. A few clarifications will be needed;

  • Was the eSIM function present when you were with Rogers?
  • Does the feature appear when you take out the Bell SIM card from the phone?
  • Is your phones OS updated to it's latest version?
  • Have you got in touch with our technical support team to have it looked into? If so was a ticket opened?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
