I have two very important and dear voicemails to me that I go through and save every week or so in order not to lose them. Does Bell not provide any way to permanently save or archive voicemails? Or any way to receive/download the files?
(I have the voicemail mms feature but didn't have it when I first received the voicemails)
If there is a way to do it through the phone, what are the steps?
I can not lose these messages.

Hey there @MobilityUser,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
We can definitely understand and would love to have a feature that would extract the voicemails into a voice file for you. However, you will need to use a recording device while playing the voicemail on speaker.
If you do not have a recording device, you can call your voicemail from a friends phone on speaker and record it with your cellphone. To do so, once you call your number, let it ring until your voicemail starts, at that moment hit the "#" key and it will ask you for your password and will allow you to listen to your voicemails.
Hope this helps.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
@Ramjet Voicemail/MMS does work. If you wish to save your Voicemail you will need to activate this feature. Once this feature is activated, do a test and call your device from another phone line & leave your self a voicemail message.
How to save voicemails on iOS or OS
Apple iPhone
Saving a voicemail on an iPhone involves sharing it to a storage option of your choice:
1. Go to Phone, then tap Voicemail.
2. Open the voicemail you want to save.
3. Tap the Share button in the upper right of the screen select how you wish to save the voicemail.
Storage options can vary depending on what apps are installed; regardless, you will see them divided into groups. For example: AirDrop, Message, Mail, Voice Memos, Notes, etc..
Samsung / Android steps
Android is a vast ecosystem so exact steps may vary, but the process of saving the voicemail file will be similar to these:
1. Access your voicemail screen.
2. Open the voicemail, and tap on the three vertical dots icon in the upper right.
3. Click Save. You will see a prompt, including the local file path where the voicemail will be saved. This will save the file to your phone.

To summarize, all voicemail messages can be saved. It is a matter of choice as to how you wish to save them. E.g. Apple iCloud, Cloud Storage such as: Drop Box, Google Drive, as well as to a file such as on an SD card, computer, mobile device application etc.
Once you have saved your voicemail messages, you can delete them from your device.
Take care & enjoy.
