Turn off sharing between my devices

My husband and I share the same account. However, he has photos from my phone on his, search history, etc. How do we separate our profiles on our Account?

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

I am not quite sure I understand your question in its entirety. Having multiple devices on the same MyBell account does not result in the sharing of photos, search history, apps, etc. between devices.

You can set up separate billing on MyBell if both of you wish to do so. This in itself will not solve your sharing issue.

To remove an account from your MyBell profile, you can follow these instructions when logged in via a web browser: Go to My Profile. Select > Billing & Services. Go to the account you want removed in the sidebar. Select > Remove this bill. You can now create a separate MyBell account for this service.

I can only surmise from the info you have provided that the sharing you wish to change are settings that you need to change on your devices; account settings for sharing between your devices.

Which devices do you both have? Make and model?

Apple devices

If you have Apple devices, please check out:

  1. Do you have separate Apple accounts for each device?
  2. Have you setup iCloud or Family Sharing on your Apple?

Share iCloud+ with your family - Apple Support (CA)

Leave or remove a member from a Family Sharing group - Apple Support (CA)

Etc. etc.

Samsung - Android

If you have Samsung - Android devices, please check out their support articles for the devices that both of you have. Samsung & Google devices have similar share options.

  1. Do you have separate Samsung / Android Google accounts for each device?
  2. Have you setup Samsung or Family Sharing on your devices with Samsung?

Create a Family group with Samsung account options

How to Share Photos and Videos with Quick Share | Samsung SG

Etc. etc.

Take care.
