Hi, I transferred my BELL mobility services from a physical SIM to an ESIM successfully. Now I am wondering if I can use the old physical SIM card on my older phone just in case.

Hey there @Ria ,
Welcome to the Community and good questions.
Unfortunately, once a SIM card has been activated and linked to a specific phone number, it can't be re-used to activate a new number.
Let the Community know if you have more questions.

Good Day.
This is a community forum; a peer-to-peer site. As such, we do not have access to your account & billing information.
In order to assist you, you need to provide a lot more information. Did you complete this number change with Bell or are you porting your service from another carrier & changing the number at the same time? Were you sent a new SIM or provided with a new SIM at a Bell store? Do you have your new phone?
Did you purchase your new phone from Bell? Was this done online with a Bell Customer Service representative or at a Bell store?
I would like to assist you further, but I cannot with the limited information that you have provided.
You will need to contact Bell Mobility to confirm your account details, phone number change, activation & the status of your SIM card.
Please call: 1 800 667-0123
Take care.

Hi, as far I know after activating your ESIM the physical sim card wouldn't work, basically for each phone number only one sim (either physical or ESIM) would work.
Please let me know if you got a different result.
Thanks.
