Why do we only have 1 bar of cell service in Westvale community (Waterloo)

We walk all over the house and outdoors trying to get service to make a phone call.  Many times it takes a minimum of 5 attempts for a call to connect and we are lucky if we don't have the call drop or not have to repeat ourselves constantly due to poor reception. Again, why only 1 bar of service - so frustrating.

Hello @User528

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post.

Depending on the type of building and construction materials used, if you are underground or high up and/or the model of your phone can affect signal reception.

When indoors, to increase the stability of your calls and use data, you can use Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi CallingOpens in a new tab or window

If the issue happens in public areas (multiple places) in Waterloo, let the Community know and we will be happy to look into it further.

I live in Edmonton which has 5G.  However, when I am in my home, which is most of the time as I work from home, my cell phone has 1 bar.  Why is this?  Please advise.
