I have a monthly paid plan for my new iphone 14 pro with Bell as my main mobile data provider. But as I have returned home to Sri Lanka, I am unable to insert my physical Sim Card into my new phone due to the fact that it is locked into my Canadian phone number and Data plan. However I found a solution where I could activate an Esim for my Sri Lankan Number whilst keeping my physical Canadian Sim card into my new phone. But I was not allowed to do this as an Esim was not supported by Bell. How would I be able to ask Bell to help me activate an Esim by scanning a QR Code ?

I have the same issue, and don't need Roaming services, I just need to activate the eSim, is there a way to do that or do I have to wait until I'm actually in Canada, in which case how do I get refunded the money I've paid that's now wasted because I can't set this up and be ready to go when I land in Canada in a few weeks?

Thank you, I don't need to use the eSim here, other than to activate it, which everything says I just need wifi access to do, which seems not to be the case. I have lived in Germany for 9+ years and have a local Sim card which is physical, which covers everything I need to do here. I am returning to Canada and just wanted to get my cell service sorted out before I arrive, which given the information I've been able to find, so far, I thought I could do, although at this point the information seems to be incomplete or wrong, because it seems I can't activate the eSim unless I'm actually in Canada wifi access or not.
I realise this is a user community, I didn't expect you to resolve my billing issue, that was me thinking out loud. I will contact the Bell accounts people when I have a chance and can spend the time sitting on hold waiting to talk to someone who can answer my question.

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
Are you on a monthly or a prepaid Bell Mobility plan? You can use the appropriate QR code for your phone's manufacturer from the Bell support page on: Setting up eSIM and Dual SIM
Please keep in mind that pre-paid customers are not eligible for roaming services; as such, you will have zero service via your pre-paid eSIM until you're in Canada.
If you just want to transfer your Bell Mobility service from a physical SIM card in your device to an eSIM, log in to MyBell
To reach Bell Mobility, please call: 1 800 667-0123 or *611 from any Bell mobile device. The Bell International number is: +1 514 420-7748 . This is a free call from any Bell mobile device.
What are Dual SIM and eSIM? How do I use them? (bell.ca)
Take care.

Based on my experience (my situation was different to yours. although I was trying to activate an eSim outside of the country, so our situations are similar in that respect), you won't be able to activate an eSim outside of Canada, you have to be on the Bell network in order to activate it.
