Do I get Aeroplan points on monthly bell billing

Did you sign up under a different promotion that may have been running as well? If this is the case, then you would need to follow up confirm eligibility.

Bell is not an Aeroplan partner. It does not offer Aeroplan points perse. This is not to say that if you are using a credit card as a method payment, that you will not be reciprocated based on the credit card company's rewards program. E.g. Cashback, airmiles, points, etc.

As a result of a mobility hack in October 2024 with a different cell phone provider, I opened up a brand new mobility account with Bell. At that time I was unaware I was eligible for aeroplan loyalty points. I found out yesterday through aeroplan that I should contact Bell immediately to have these loyalty points linked to my account. Bell has advised me that because I did not mention it at the time I opened the account I was no longer eligible for these points. If you don't know at the time and Bell doesn't advise you of the aeroplan option, how do you know?

It is somekind of a loophole between Bell & Aeroplan .

 

I contacted Aeroplan to get the promo, asked me to contact bell. Then contacted Bell  asked me to contact Aeroplan 

 

Is that a joke or something?

I earned aeroplan points when switching to bell. How do I collect them?

Good for you!  I am still running back and forth between Bell & Aeroplan, any help would be appreciated.

I have been trying to get the Bell / Aeroplan points promoted since November 2024 without success.

Back & Forth without any clarity as to who is responsible to put the points in my Aeroplan account.  It was suppose to automatically added to Aeroplan in January 2025.

Not one person in the 7 phone calls could answer the questions.  Please advise thank you!

I can understand your frustration. Unfortunately we have no access to account and billing matters in the Community Forum. All I can advise you to do is to keep at Bell, as @WelshTerrier has suggested in the green checked response.

I got the solution and it worked 

Most important information to know is something called AERONOTE 

 

1- Call bell

2- Ask to be transferred to a special task team to endorse your current promotion 

 

3- The agent will give you an Aeronote number 

 

4- Go to Aircanada website 

5-  From left menue, choose Aeroplan

 

DO NOT LOGIN

6- Go to the bottom of thr page, 

7- Click on Deposit Aeronotes

8- Deposit points into your aeroplan account

9- Click deposit now

10-  Enter your aeroplan number ( 9 digits)

Your last name 

Enter the 20 digit Aeronote certificate number into "Certificate Number" field 

 

Smile 😃 

  1. Most important piece of info is to call BELL and ask about your Aeronote certificate 20 digit number
  2. I don't know why it is so complicated 
  3. LCBO, Journie, Uber all deposit automatically,  except this one

Yes, I read this yesterday in an email from the bank or Bell , don't remember. I get a lot of email, mostly junk mail. I'm a email magnet....lol.
