Login to MyBell. On the main screen you will see One Bill in the blue shaded box area. On the right side of the screen, you will see your account balance for all of the services that you have linked to One Bill. You can select to view your current bill & any historical bills.
On the MyBell main screen you can also make a payment, view & change your pre-authorized methods of payment.
If you make a payment from this screen, your account balance will be updated once BELL has received the funds from your financial institution.

Can I access a monthly statement on the MyBell site? I want to see how much is being charged.

All of your bills are on MyBell including your historical bills. There is an itemized account for everything you use if you go in to the specific detail for each service. If you are looking for up to date, blow by blow $$$ amounts as you use your services, that is not possible.
You can view your usage on all of your of your services on My Bell if you have connected your services to your MyBell account. If you are looking for current $$$ charges, it does not show this only your usage in terms of calls, volume, data, L.D.. etc. It is current but it is not instant!

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.
That is quite possible. This can be nothing more than a timing issue. How & when did you pay your bill?
The notice would have been automatically generated by the computer billing system. If your payment has not been received by the billing date, the email notification is generated & sent to you reflecting the outstanding balance. Your MyBell account will be updated & reflect your payment once it has been received by Bell.
Bell posts all payments upon receipt.
