You should not have any problem sending & receiving texts to & from an Irish cell number from within Canada The recipient must also have texting capabilities as apart of their mobility plan.

You should consider adding Unlimited Canada to U.S. and international text messages to your mobility plan. It is a monthly addon that will save a considerable amount of money. It is a lot cheaper than paying as you go. You can add & remove this addon mobility feature from within MyBell. Here is a link regarding the price & details. Enjoy!
