How to stop the "We received your recent payment" email

Yesterday I received an email from Bell with the subject "We received your recent payment". I don't need to be notified that they received my payment as I am on automated billing to my credit card. How do I turn that off? I don't want that to affect the email that notifies that my bill is ready, as that email reminds me to download my latest bill and I still want that one.

Thanks

Allan

Go into your account online and under notification preference you can uncheck how to be notified

Where exactly is the notification preference? I've gone all through the MyBell Profile and the Billing Profile and Marketing Preferences. The only thing I found was Service Outage Notifications. Nothing about the billing notifications.

Profile information email you can change your email address, try leave it blank and see if it saves.

I doubt that's it. It says "We send important information to this email address, such as to reset your password and to tell you your bill is ready. Sometimes we might send you a verification code to make sure it’s really you logging in to MyBell." Seems important to me.

Anyway, you can't save a blank email address.

Well I am not sure then, I only get notified my payment is due and the amount, I have mobile and Satellite with Bell and on preauthorized payments. I do not get notified "We received your recent payment". Contact customer service and see what they can do for you. Sorry couldn't help you

Yeah, I know. I get the notification email that my bill is due, which is all I need. This was something new, that I definitely don't need. Get enough junk mail as it is. Bell's spam filtering leaves somewhat to be desired.

Thanks anyway.
