Removing Smart Phone Care

How do I cancel smart phone care?   After paying  a hefty monthly fee, you still have to pay for a replacement.   If I want to replace my phone it will cost me $400!!!

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

You may cancel the your Smart Phone Care contract by calling Bell at 1-800-667-0123 to request cancellation. If you cancel this contract, coverage will cease, and billing will cease as well.
Bell will stop billing you, on the next business day following the date that they receive your request for cancellation.
Your account will be credited the amount of any invoiced monthly charge applicable to the period after the date of cancellation.

We're sorry to hear that you wish to remove your Smart/Phone Care. When you buy a new mobile device, it comes with a limited 12-month warranty for manufacturer’s defects and malfunctions. Smart/Phone Care gives you additional coverage and peace of mind, knowing that you don’t have to pay the full replacement value of your device, but only a replacement fee depending on the device owned.

I am online trying to cancel the monthly charge for smart phone care but nothing will record.

How does one go about this task if your system will not record changes?

Hello. I would like to cancel the smart phone care add-on on my account, but both the website and application don't allow it. They both redirect you to the online chat that doesn't offer any more directions or help on how to do that.

Trying to remove SmartPhone Care Plan. The bell site doesn't allow me to un-check the box.

Bell Chat didn't help.

How do I remove my smart/phone care?

 

This link actually only shows how to enrol - not to cancel out of this ridiculous service.  Can you please provide the steps to cancel?  Thank you.
