9500 PVR weak wi-fi

9500 PVR weak wi-fi . Is there an updated unit? Today I signed up for Netflix promo and works great off my Roku device at 131 mbps when doing a network check. I have a 9500 right next to it and realized I could access Netflix on the 9500. Very slow loading, video is sadly bad and when doing a Netflix network check it shows 15 mbps. Netflix is unwatchable on the 9500. Is there an updated 9500 with a better network card?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
The 9500 model is the latest model receiver we have for Satellite service. If you're experience slow speeds on the receiver and if possible, we'd recommend hooking the receiver up to the internet via ethernet connection. Alternatively we would recommend either moving the receiver / modem closer or further away from each other to see if the connection improves.

It is right beside an extender which give minimum 96 mbps and a Roku streamer which shows 131 mbps. So it is definitely the receiver. It is already in the best location. 
Easier just to use my Roku.
