I fixed my green issue. It was the TV.
- go to your settings of your tv and see if you have a shutdown option, if not
- try resetting your TV. You will lose all your settings and apps, but it cleared up my issue.
something about the TV getting confused when changing your input selection and sending wrong type of signal.

Hi there @Steve3,
Welcome to the Bell Community, and thanks for your post.
Can you please clarify which TV receiver you have, and if this is affecting multiple receivers in your home? Is the equipment connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Ethernet?
We recommend checking your HDMI cord to ensure there is no damage. Unplug the HDMI cord from both your TV and the receiver, and then plug it back in to see if the picture returns on your Bell Fibe TV. Try a different HDMI port on the TV set if the issue persists as well.
You will also find some helpful troubleshooting tips, and a link to the Virtual repair tool in this helpful How To: Fibe TV not working? Try these quick fixes.
Keep the Community updated on how everything is going.

Hey there @Benny blanco,
Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for reaching out to us. We are very interested in this, and would like get a bit more information.
- Can you please share a photo of the screen with us?
- Were you watching Live TV or a recording/On Demand before this occurred?
- Does this affect multiple receivers in your home, or just the one?
If rebooting your equipment does not resolve this we recommend a factory reset to default settings.
You can try pressing the small Multifunction button on the side of your equipment, which should bring up a menu with the option to Factory reset the equipment.
If the screen stays green and no menu populates please try the steps that @Inf posted in this thread: How to Factory Reset a Bell Streamer Without Video Output
Hope you will keep us updated on how everything is going.

Same issue for me. A year ago my screen would be red but since Christmas it has been green. Happens randomly when turning on tv. Changing HDMI cable and even ports on my tv did nothing. Always have to unplug the box and plug it back in for it to work again. It is becoming extremely irritating because they’ve already changed my box and the problem still persists. Happens at least once a day. receiver is the new fibe tv box. My tv is a Samsung (don’t know if that has any relation to the Fibe box issue)

Hi there @Di_Pro,
Welcome to the Bell Community, and thank you for reaching out.
Which model is your Samsung TV?
We'd love it if you can share a photo of the green screen that you get when turning your TV on.
Please also do a factory reset on your equipment using the steps posted above, and then test to see if the issue reoccurs.
We look forward to your reply,
- Patricia

It’s a Samsung QN90. I’ve attached a picture of the green screen. Also I’ve tried the reboot sequence and it does not work. I’ve also tried it with the receiver functioning and the steps to reboot the receiver do not correspond to the ones on the other forum.

Every once and awhile when I turn on my Fibe Receiver to watch TV the picture is completely Green. I hear the sound but video is Green. I've chgd all the cables and rebooted a number of times and it doesn't help. I even rebooted the Fibe 3000 modem. It isn't my Sony TV because I am able to watch other streaming services. The only way it is solved is by turning it off for about 20min, it is very frustrating. I think it is the Bell Receiver.

Hey there @GreenMan,
Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community 🙂
Which TV receiver are you using?
There are a few things that we recommend you try, which have worked for others in the thread above.
- Test a different HDMI cord.
- Try a different HDMI port on your TV set.
- Factory reset the TV receiver.
