Hi there @NEWBE, welcome to the Bell Community 🙂
Satellite TV receivers cannot be used with Bell Fibe TV.
However, the Fibe TV app is available at no extra cost to Satellite TV subscribers. For more information check out What is Fibe TV app and how do I use it?

Howdy. If I have a wifi adaptor in my 9400 and the actual reciever was not physically wired to a TV... it would be stored in a media closet and not connected by wire to the TV. Can I interface with the 9400 receiver from my TV's Fibe TV app? To record Fibe TV live events (sports)... and to playback the recordings? Currently the receiver is strapped to the back of the tv hung on the wall... I would like to remove it and locate it inside a cabinet. Is there a cloud dvr solution available for Fieb TV that does not require a physical receiver?

Hey there @Timothy,
Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Bell Community 🙂
You are able to use the Fibe TV app to manage/watch and download your recordings. Keep in mind while Satellite TV customers have access to the Bell Fibe TV app with their Satellite subscription, the app does not replace your physical TV receiver. Check out the support article that we posted above for more information on using the Bell Fibe TV app with your Satellite subscription.
With respect to relocating your equipment, we do recommend that it be kept in an open space instead of enclosed in a cabinet to prevent overheating.
Please reach out to the Community if you have any other questions.

@BellPatricia thank you for the information - I will look for the supprt articles you refer to.
I have proper ventilation in the location I wish to have my receiver. Will the wifi adaptor work for interfacing with the receiver (via Fibe TV app) or does the receiver still require to be physically wired (hdmi) to the tv?

Hi @Timothy 🙂
The Wi-Fi adapter simply connects your TV receiver to the internet. Your TV receiver will still need to be connected to your TV set via HDMI.
Let us know how everything is going,

Thanks @BellPatricia my Bell wifi adaptor should arrive tomorrow - then at least my receiver will be on-line. Are you aware of any "cloud based" DVR solution that works with Fibe TV? I am keeping my Bell sattelite subscription just trying to remove the physical receiver from the back of my tv. Thanks again for the information.
