Bell satellite remote - unable to control volume

Unable to control volume from remote for HD satellite receivers.  Have a 6131, 9242 and 6500 receiver.  There were no issues in controlling volume from remote with SD 2700 receivers.  Anyone know how to fix this issue?

Hi @Mlr,

Volume control is not a receiver function but a TV function.  You have to program your remote to operate your TV.

I'm having problems with my remote. I seem to have to get one every couple months.  Could the problem be with  the  PVR?   This is getting really frustrating.  Please help. I can't be  paying for a new  remote so often. Thank you.

Still having problems with the  remote.... maybe it's the  receiver. If I have to keep getting  new remotes every couple months... I'm switching to cable.

Did anything happen to the remote before this issue started? Have you tried different batteries to see if that makes a difference?
