I cut cable 15 years ago, live in Alberta so no options for Bell TV services, had bell phone for 20 years.
Why does Bell not have a pay for option for the CTV app. It is 2024 and you are a multibillion $ media company. I would gladly pay 5 or 6 dollars a month like I do for Global and CBC. I do not understand.

That is a very good question & worth consideration.
If you have a TV subscription with a participating TV service provider, you can watch CTV, Global, City TV, etc. There are no restrictions in terms of watching live tv, show, etc.
The apps are locked & somewhat restrictive without a sign in. You can purchase a CBC subscription.
You cannot watch CTV live without a subscription. There is no option offered at this time to purchase a monthly standalone CTV live channel subscription.

I understand you can not watch without a tv subscription which as per my original statement "cut cable".
So I will ask once again, in this day and age why can't a multi billion dollar company get with the times and offer one????? Only Network in North America that doesn't.

I'm seeing ads this year "Watch it on CTV, next day on Crave" recently, when it used to be "Watch on the CTV App"
Maybe CTV is going to start pushing their content to Crave instead of the CTV app in the future?

Many providers are pushing content to subscription services after real time broadcast. As we have no connection with that side of Bell, we can’t say much more.
