Thank you for your question. As a Bell Satellite user myself, I suspect something either in the receiver itself or a dish misalignment, perhaps. I suggest you call Bell at 310-2355 and get a technician to have a look. There may be a charge for that, however. Best discuss that with Bell directly.

Hey @Gordon McBride,
Thanks for reaching out to the Bell Community.
What type of TV receiver are you using and do you notice it on multiple receivers in your home? Does this happen each time you switch between an HD & SD channel, or just when switching to a certain channel?
Please try rebooting your equipment and check all of your cords to make sure they are plugged in securely.
Let the community know if you are still having any trouble.

I have a 6131 box . It happens when I go from say CNN 1578 to BBC 510 or back . Same if I go from other stations . Intersting this morning it was ok but now back to error 002 . It sometimes ok but mostly not . I had it serviced by Bell tech a couple months ago with new LNB installed . Does this have anything to do with Bell ditching their non high def sattilite ?

Hi @Gordon McBride
Is your receiver placed in a well ventilated area?
Have there been any strong winds lately (it's possible your dish may be unaligned)?
Are there any obstructions in front of where the dish is pointing (buildings, trees, leaves..)?

Are you able to check your signal? Here are the steps for how to check:
On the Bell TV remote press the following buttons in this order:
Menu
6 - System set up
1 - Installation
1 - Point Dish Signal
With the remote using the arrows highlight transponder number on the TV screen.
Change the transponder number to 1.
Highlight Satellite, make sure you are on satellite 91.
Check the bar at the bottom of the screen to determine satellite signal strength.
What is the satellite signal strength?

Looking forward to hearing back.

So have you resolved the problem to see why it is happening ? Called bell about your problem ? Wondering what happen ?
