Channel Packages On Bell Site Incorrect

I was comparing the better (my current) to the good package on the Bell website and found the line up listed is woefully incorrect.  One example of many inaccuracies is that 206 PBS is listed but it is actually Omni 1.  Both are listed on the same channel.  Huh?   As I went further in the list I found many other errors to report here.   Suffice to say the website is a joke.   I am going to call Bell to report.   Ideally it would be nice to export the lists to an excel file so you can properly compare.

Good Day.

Thank you for your reply. I wish there was something more that I could for you, but there is not.

The Bell Community is a place for you to ask questions, find answers and share your thoughts. This is a true peer-to-peer website. It is based on the premise of members helping each other out by asking and answering questions, share thoughts, ideas and solutions. I do not work for Bell.

If you are still unsatisfied, then I can only suggest that you contact Bell Customer at: 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or dial *611 from any Bell mobile device. A Bell Customer Service representative will be far better equipped to assist in answering any further channel listing questions that you might have.

Take care.

All I can is stay tuned, there are going to be a number of further changes going in to 2025.

Take care.

I am a Bell Fibe subscriber.

The list you have provided is helpful but not as complete (or wrong) as the Bell Channel Lineup at https://mybell.bell.ca/TV/Programming/Brochure/Index?AcctNo=062C7EFF23778DD9DE345F43700047DF421CB5B1...

Note that 206 is listed on the channel line up I posted as PBS and Omini 1 and Chek is missing entirely

OK ... the list you provided does appear to be accurate as opposed to the website URL from the Bell Canada website.   And the reason Chek doesn't appear is because it is associated with timeshifting that we subscribe to.
I don't consider this issue solved when the website is wrong.  I have an open ticket with Bell Preferred support.

Thank you for the list you provided.  Still need to update the website.

Looks like the list you provided also is wrong ... for example 1509 is missing.  CNBC HD

So I was able to with your list you provided create an excel spreadsheet of the better package even if not correct.   Most useful.   Now I will compare with good to see what channels are missing in good vs better.   I am just trying to see if its worth nearly an extra 30 bucks to get the better package.   With the next increase planned in January I am trying to reduce our Bell bill which with TV, Internet and Mobile Phones is nearly $500.

Good Day.

I wish I could do more you, but I cannot. Station changes are evolving each and every day. The lists I provided earlier are a snapshot on that date. There have been changes since that date & there are going to be more additions, deletions & changes going into 2025.

Here is a partial list of some of the changes.....

• Discovery becomes USA Network

• Investigation Discovery (ID) becomes Oxygen True Crime

While the names are changing, both channels will continue delivering the genres and shows you’ve come to enjoy, with some fresh new content to explore.

Oxygen True Crime: A Thrilling New Era for True Crime Fans

Replacing Investigation Discovery (ID), Oxygen True Crime will be your ultimate destination for all things true crime. As one of the fastest-growing cable networks in the US, Oxygen is a must-watch for fans of real-life mysteries and investigative storytelling, especially with its female-focused programming. Canadian viewers can expect a blend of ID favourites and compelling new titles.

What to Watch:

• Forensic Factor F2 (Canadian Original): Delve into the science of crime-solving with this anthology series showcasing advanced forensic techniques.

• Fear Thy Neighbour (Canadian Original): A chilling exploration of neighbour disputes turned deadly.

• Snapped: The long-running series about ordinary women driven to extraordinary crimes.

• Real Murders of Atlanta: A gritty look at the underbelly of Atlanta’s dynamic culture, where ambition and violence collide.

• Killer Relationship with Faith Jenkins: Uncover the dark side of love and friendships gone wrong.

• The Pike County Murders: A Family Massacre: Explore the largest murder investigation in Ohio’s history, revealing a web of lies and betrayal.

Oxygen True Crime is set to captivate Canadian audiences with its lineup of gripping true crime series, including Canadian originals and international hits.

USA Network: A New Home for Iconic Entertainment

Discovery Channel is evolving into USA Network, a top-tier entertainment brand known for its mix of scripted and unscripted content. While retaining many popular Discovery titles, USA Network will also introduce buzzworthy new series and blockbuster films, creating an irresistible mix for Canadian audiences.

What to Watch:

• Highway Thru Hell (Canadian Original): Follow the intrepid team keeping BC’s Coquihalla Highway open against all odds.

• East Harbour Heroes (Canadian Original): Life on the rugged Atlantic coast comes alive in this vibrant docuseries.

• The Mightiest (Canadian Original): A celebration of human innovation and resilience, featuring the incredible feats behind massive projects.

• Good Cop, Bad Cop: A dramedy procedural about a quirky sibling detective duo working under their police chief father.

• Traitors: A thrilling murder mystery game show hosted by the captivating Alan Cumming.

• Suits: The beloved legal drama joins USA Network in Canada.

• Timber Titans (Canadian Original): Explore the high-stakes world of BC’s logging industry in this action-packed series.

USA Network promises an engaging mix of drama, action, and reality, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

As I mentioned in an earlier reply, stay tuned!

Take care.

I have completed the list with the Good package now from your pdf list.   Listings are still incomplete.  For instance 1400 to 1404 are missing.  Not sure where the website comes up with 176 channels as I have 186 (that combines the good and the better packages.  Personally I don't think they should include all the radio stations in the tally.

Good Day.

Welsh ... thank you very much for your assistance and dedication to answering my questions.   You did assist by pointing me to the PDF file.   I found another btw that was more recent.   Still incorrect - missing some stations but more accurate than the website channel lineup.   I'm being asked to mark one of the answers as solving my problem but my problem is not solved, as the website is incorrect and actually misleading in my humble opinion.   I'm considering filing a complaint with the CRTC.

After evaluating the good and standard offering , to switch to good would require me to get an additional 6 stations that are al a carte, so the end price would only save me $4.   I'll just leave things as they are.

Anyways again thank you Welsh.  I have opened a ticket with Bell to get the website fixed although I doubt I will here anything from it.  I'll mark one of your answer as a the resolution but the issue is still outstanding.

@WelshTerrier

I don't think that anyone is expecting anymore from you other than what you have done.

You are not a bell employee and it is appreciated that you are locating updated information that you can find from bell resource information.

This information is transient and the information from peers is useful to show discrepancies so we can all be aware.

It is stated by one that they have escalated. I think the key is that users reviewing information and creating comparative spreadsheets are doing their due diligence to check the information provided to us and then we can all decide what to do with it.

It is unfortunate that there is not active monitoring of these feeds by dedicated quality assurance improvement staff assigned to the teams, if Bell even chooses this decades model first developed under ISO standards and international standards.

I appreciate you saying you wish you could do more but I don't know what conditions are placed on and all-star. There is certainly terms that suggest we cannot correspond privately.

So I thank you for information, but just my opinion, there is no need to keep stating your wishes to do more and direction to approach a Bell Customer Service rep.

I see the discussion at this point as constructive analysis of the accuracy provided and it helps all to understand that the information is in transition and allows users on the forum to make educated decisions on the information and confirms the accuracy of the information we received through the forums from public Bell resources.

Each individual will then take the confirmed information forward to decide what they want to do with this dramatic change. I am sure these discussions are going on with every provider.
