Well, kind of late in the day....  for me If it is not working, you need to call Bell tech support to test & to confirm it is not a hardware or user issue.. If it is, they will assist you.

My 9241 is failing. Constantly goes non responsive, then blank and then reboots. The longer it is on a live feed, the worse it gets. Unattended recording or watching a recording seems to work pretty well with few issues. The unit compromises the telephone line and I have had to unplug phone line from it, Can I get a refurb 9400 from Bell? Are there considerations(on pricing), as I've been a 20+ year customer?

Bell Satellite TV no longer offers the 9241 HD PVR new, refurbished or on a monthly rental.

There are only two models of receivers offered up on a refurbished or monthly rental basis.

They are the 9500 Whole Home PVR & the 7500 Whole Home Receiver.

You can try buying one second hand from one of the free to use e-commerce websites. You just need to be careful that you are not spending good money on something bad that does not work. There are a number of listings that you will find on. E.g. kijiji, Facebook Marketplace, etc.

I have been without service from my 4K Fibe Tv receiver model VIP5662W, since June 25. I have spoken with two service reps and neither has taken the action of replacing the defective unit. I have been told that I’would receive a email with the shipping information… nothing. How do I get Bell to replace the unit? Other than speaking with challenged service reps. Can I go into a Bell store for this service?

I will do my best to assist you. You mentioned talking to two service representatives. Were you told that your receiver need to be replaced? Did the Bell representative let you know if your equipment was covered under under warranty and a replacement would be shipped out to you?

If your receiver is defective, depending on your location, Bell replacement receivers are typically delivered within 2-5 business days. You should receive a confirmation email and tracking number once the replacement has shipped. Have you received a confirmation email from Bell? If not, please check your Junk mail folder or blocked senders & if need be, call Bell to reconfirm shipping details.

When you receive your replacement, follow the enclosed instructions to return your existing equipment back to Bell within 30 days.

FYI Only! Do not return your defective Bell VIP5662W Fibe TV receiver to a Bell store.

Yes, I was told the receiver needed to be replaced 
It’s a rental so yes it’s under warranty. 
No confirmation email from Bell about shipment, even though I have been told by three reps now (additional phone call today):that it was shipped June 26, so it should arrive tomorrow at latest. 
Well wait for one additional day, I’m not confident that it has been sent if they do not send a email with shipping details

@SteveRom  Thank you for your reply. Please return the old receiver in the box that the replacement receiver comes to you in. Detailed shipping instructions will be included in the box. Follow these instructions for either pick up or drop off at a designated location.

Just a reminder for you to keep a copy of your return shipping label receipt & to include the power cord with your receiver return.
