I have a Bell 9500 receiver that connects my Satellite to my TV
I’m trying to add a bass bar, to improve my sound.
The bass bar is operational.
I’ve tried attaching the bass bar with an HDMI cable.
When I go into the Dolby Settings, it says Dolby only.
Is there a way to hook up this bass bar?

Good Day.
Can you provide us with further information in terms of the make & model of your tv & sound / bass bar?
There is no direct connection per se to connect a bass sound bar to your 9500 receiver. To connect a sound bar to a 9500 Whole Home PVR, you'll need to use an HDMI cable with ARC (Audio Return Channel) if both your TV and receiver support it. If using HDMI-ARC, ensure it's enabled in both your TV and receiver settings.
Please refer to your tv settings & soundbar for specific connection & settings
Take care.
