Jittery picture on 6131 Satellite Receiver

I have been experiencing a jittery picture on two 6131 receivers. It's most noticeable watching TSN football games or tennis.  I've adjusted my dish and I have a 92% signal on satellite 91 and transponder 13.  I also have a 9241 receiver and the picture is normal on it so it seems to be a problem specific to the 6131 receivers.  In the spring I had a similar problem with the 9241 where the temporary fix was to tune to the CPAC channel 512 and then back to the station you were watching and the jittering would go away.  That temporary fix has no affect on the 6131 receiver.

Bell has already acknowledged:
"We've inquired with our support team regarding this and they were able to reproduce the issue on the 6131, 6141, 9242 and are investigating. Once we have further information we will update the thread."
So I am doubtful it is related to signal issues at the user's end.

I too am having the same issues with all my receivers but not the app; thus, it is either a problem with the receivers or the satellites or sat signal processing/transmission along the way.  This appears to have been going on for some time  now and although acknowledged customers will want to see a solution soon!

So have you tried getting to see if you can get a new box . So you can get to work possibly . Becasue it sounds newer boxes are not having issues . Have you called bell .

My 2 - 6141 are experiencing this same issue, No issue with 6400 or 6500. Same results interchanging or moving receiver inputs from sw44.

I haven't been watching much on the sports side of things but I just tuned into tsn1(1400) and there doesn't appear to be any more pixelation on the 9242 and I just checked my 6141 and the channel is also smooth there.   I guess it could be the "great" CFL broadcast OR maybe bell found the issue in the sat uplink encoding.... maybe.

Yeah, my 6141 on ch 1400 is also smooth tonight. First time in weeks. Here’s hoping the issue is resolved.

Just checked channel tsn. 1400 pic is good. Went to point dish in menu and did switch test . Snows no satellite 82.

Is this a temp or permanent fix?

Cheers 🍻

Just posted this big tuna.....

I think that has been discussed elsewhere in another thread.   Basically, 82 is no longer being used.   Last time I check, the "check switch" was showing both satellites BUT if you switch the switch selector, 82 would not get a signal or would say "wrong satellite".   It appears that they have now shut it down "properly"... which probably helped the channel map for subscriptions.

Yes appears to be off air, Cheers

Have a great Sunday

TSN still good today, but many of the CTV channels continue to have the jitter for me.
