Thanks for checking .

Yes it has been a long time now since I have been able to deactivate , add or  remove a receiver using the self serve on line option .

Here is what comes up each and every time I try . I have been trying daily for to see if there has been a fix with no Joy :>(

"Your receiver cannot be deactivated right now. Please try again later. We're sorry for the inconvenience. If the problem persists, please "

Hi there @Mr T1
I've sent you a private message.

I did an online chat to remove some receivers so I could add on a 9500 and 7500.

the chat person said it would take 24 hours for it to take effect.

Nothing has been updated, old recievers still on account.  The online options of removing recievers does nothing. Says it’s successful, but a day later, still nothing.

Do I have to call in to get this to happen?

Good Day.

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community Forum.

If you are making changes to your satellite receivers, then it may be best for you to contact Bell Satellite TV to confirm the removal of your old receivers at the time you are activating your 7500 & 9500 replacements.

Equipment changes such as this can take 24 - 48 hours to update on the system.

Bell Satellite TV Tech support can reconfirm the removal of your old & the activation of your new satellite receivers. Please call: 1 888 759-3474

Take care.

Hi there @Vern-branconnier
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
We wanted to check in to see if you're still experiencing trouble with managing your equipment or if it is now working and you were able to make the changes?
Looking forward to hearing back.

After receiver your response today I did try to use the Deactivate Receiver option  . However after doing so I received a email sating the receiver had been REMOVED not Deactivated ! After refreshing the page it still shows the receiver however the Deactivate Receiver and Remove Receiver option is once again gone . Now to reactivate or add the receiver I must call in to do so !

Sheesh what a head ache !!!!!!

For over a year your website has been broken.

I am unable to manage the receivers on my account. I cannot add, remove, or deactivate receivers.

I have asked human support to permanently remove receivers from my account but they either can't or won't.

This is the type of crap that makes me want to go back to cable.

I will be following this as I was having the same types of issues sometime ago . After many months of Bell trying to fix the problem they were at least able to fix some of the issues like seeing all the options  however I am still unable to remove or add receivers on my account . I have given up on this and must call in and speak with people that I can not understand most of the time and don't seem to have clue of what they are trying to do !
