Netflix not available on one of my receivers

Netflix stopped working on one of my receivers it’s giving me code 500. I called bell and they told me there is nothing they can do as you can only have Netflix play on the primary receiver since the update. Logically it’s hard to comprehend, can someone please help with the issue ?

Netflix needs upgraded receivers ... how do I get these ?

Talk to a live agent and see if you can accept the new service and price.

I was wondering what type of reciver and what do you have satalite and or five tv . Some of the recivers on sat have wifi and need to connect or have to buy to fit the reciver . Look forward to you replying wonder what it causing 

It's probably been many months since I have gone to channel 311 or 1311 Netflix in the Fine PVR(and it worked fine) because I always use the Netflix within the TV. So when I tried it last week, it says the 4k receiver is required. What is up with that?

You can only access Netflix on Fibe TV or Satellite TV receivers using the following Bell TV equipment:

  • Fibe TV Box (VIP 7802)
  • Bell Streamer
  • 4K Whole Home PVR (VIP 5662)
  • 9500 Whole Home PVR (Satellite)

What do I need to know about Netflix on Fibe TV : How do I access Netflix?

FYI Only.  As of July 20, 2022, Netflix was no longer available on the following Bell receivers: VIP 1200, 1216, 1232, 2202, 2262 and 2502.

Last July I got a new receiver - VIP2262. Since then Netflix and youtube have been working fine on my smart Sony TV..

This morning I could not connect to Netlfix or youtube.  Bell told me that Netflix stopped supporting

the App for the VIP2262. I got no notice from Bell or Netflix. Google says Netflix stopped supporting the 2262 in 2022 - so Bell gave me a receiver in 2024 knowing that Netflix would eventually stop working. I am getting a new receiver from Bell and they want to charge me $ 150. for installation. I called Bell again and they agreed to credit me for the $ 150.

I just want reliable,  continuous service with no hassles.

Netflix has not been available on some FibeTV HD receivers since July 20, 2022, E.g. Bell VIP 2502, 2262, 2202, etc. To continue using Netflix, please refer to this: Bell's website or consider using a different device

You can access Netflix on Fibe TV or Satellite TV receivers without any additional equipment if you have:

  • Fibe TV Box (VIP 7802)
  • Bell Streamer
  • 4K Whole Home PVR (VIP 5662)

  • Generally speaking, pricing & channel or package change notifications are sent out at least 2 months in advance.
  • Notices can be seen directly through your MyBell profile Select > My bills and payments. Select > "My bills and payments". Select > "Past bills". Select > View beside the bill that you would like to see. There will be a location called: "Important Messages" and a (+) sign that you can click to review the important messages.
