Receiver 6131 seems to have a short somewhere

When I hook up, nothing happens and then if I move either the power cord at back or the satellite "in" connection can usually get it working.   If moved, even a smidge, can kick back out. Should I buy another one?? How do I make sure that it is can be registered or how do I start the process.   What should I pay for a used 6131??

Hey there @debj56,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the Bell Community.

It certainly sounds like an issue with the cord/connection. Does it appear to be loose, or damaged? Have you tested on a different TV/outlet?

If this persists and you are looking to replace your equipment you can order receivers directly via MyBell. Check out How to order additional receivers for Bell Satellite TVOpens in a new tab or window
