Restart option does not appear on guide. How do I get it back? I have already rebooted the receiver.

Good day @Torontotom,

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community.

You will know if a channel currently has a program available to Restart when you see a left-pointing arrowhead beside a channel number in your TV Guide. If the Restart option is not listed at the time, you can also check out the On Demand section to see if the show you are looking for is available.

Hello

My pvr is no longer allowing me to restart programs, it has always worked in the past. I also called bell abd they fixed it, it has reappeared on my wireless pvr, but my internet kept getting slow or intermittently disconnected. I then restarted my equippment as well as modem, got the speed and stability back but lost restart capability.

Hi there @Vinny1
Thank you for your post and welcome to the Community.
We wanted to check in to see if you're still experiencing issues with your restart function? If so, can you please share some further information?
What station / show are you attempting the restart function on?
What receiver models do you have?
Is your equipment connected via ethernet or Wifi and have you tried both connection types?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Received a new pvr problem solved, but my internet cuts out once or twicew a day now router reboots.

Hi there @Vinny1
Are you able to share what modem you have with your internet service?
Looking forward to hearing back.

Giga hub and 1gb download

I have the exact same problem. I used to be able to restart most channels but now not even one channel has the ability to restart. Also can’t watch any shows that have already run.

What do I need to do to restore the program restart option?

Could you provide some further information? Fibe TV? Type of receiver & modem ? All channels or just some of them? Do you have more than one receiver, if so, are you experiencing this problem on it as well?

Try unplugging your receiver, wait 20 seconds & then plug it back in. If it still does not work, turn off your TV and receiver, & then go to your modem & unplug it. Wait one minute then plug it back in. This process will take 5-7 minutes for it to reconnect to Bell. Once all of the flashing lights have stopped, go to your TV & turn it on. The receiver will now reconnect to the modem, update itself & within a few minutes you will see the Bell logo. Once it has finished updating the Guide, you will have a picture & audio. Go to the Guide & select the channel you wish to view & try to restart the program.

If you still have this issue after completing the steps I have mentioned, I would contact Bell Fibe TV tech support in order for them to do some further testing on your receiver. Please call: 1 866 797 8686

Have you asked for a replacement?

Hi,

My Restart button has disappeared two days ago. As well, I am not able to watch previous programs on any channel. I rebooted system and powered it off but it didn’t solve my problem.
