Satellite PVR not working

PVR records but I cannot view recording. On Feb 2024 Bell sent a replacement PVR receiver. We can record shows but cannot playback shows recorded on new receiver. Bell wants to charge me to fix problem. I pay for Dish Care.  I have been a long term customer and belief the charge is unjust.

I think this requires further communication with Bell, ask to talk to an escalation team if needed, Send the replacement receiver back, clearly it is their issue. Yes Dish care should cover this i would think. Try talking to them again via escalation team.

May 21/24 . I phoned bell and the issue was resolved. They are going to replace PVR receiver at no cost to me.

Can you elaborate on the Bell Satellite TV equipment that you are using? I noticed in your Post, that you received a replacement receiver? Is this a rental or purchased receiver? Has it not worked since last February or did it suddenly stop working? Is this your primary residence? Have you relocated the receiver or dish to another location? Have you verified your connections from the satellite receiver to your TV?

Did you submit a subsequent claim recently? Please call: 1 888 759-3474

Did Bell Satellite TV advise you on the basis for a charge to fix the problem? Can you share this information with us?

Have you reviewed your Satellite Service agreement in particular referencing what is included as part of your Dish Care Plan? I have included a copy of this below for your reference.

Did you contact Bell Satellite TV? Did you submit a claim recently? Did the Bell Satellite TV representative advise you that he was going to send you a replacement PVR receiver? If so, please call: 1 888 759-3474

They will be able to advise you on a shipping & delivery date.
