unable to connect TV to network

I have a LG model 65UJ6200-UA that was previously connected to ethernet however since we changed to Bell fibre  I have been unable to connect to Bell fibre via wireless network. It searches and does not provide any available networks. I have rebooted the TV, rebooted the modem with no affect. All my other services work, internet, phone and TV when accessing Bell fibre.

I have tried to returned to factory settings, again with no success.

Thanks for the information @scarface73
I'd recommend checking out our thread titled Splitting SSID for IOT device configurationOpens in a new tab or windowas it explains how to split your bands so that you have different SSID's in your list of wireless networks to connect to. 2.4Ghz is for far away connections, 5Ghz is for medium / close distance and 6Ghz is for up close connections. Should you wish to, you can try splitting your connections and then check on your television to see if you can find your Wi-Fi network. But yes, it is possible it's something internal in your TV malfunctioning. Confirming that your television can't find your mobile hotspot either would point in a TV issue / setting.
I'd recommend getting your TV make and model and searching online how to enable WiFi on it, if that's the issue.
Please keep the Community updated how that goes.

Hi there @scarface73
Thank you for your post.
It's possible your television may require an update. We'd recommend either connecting it via Ethernet connection again or you can split your Wi-Fi bands so the 2.4, 5 and 6Ghz are separate and then check to see if your television picks up one of them.

Hello, thank you for your reply.

I am unable to connect ethernet to any network. I have tried several ways, including my cell as a hotspot and reinstalling without success. It keeps saying that I have to turn on WIFI on the TV before connecting but I cannot find any way to turn on the WIFI. I have tried wireless, wifi direct without success.

I am not sure how to split the bandwiths as you mention with Bell fibre.

Even with ethernet the connection was a bit flaky so my suspicion is that its something internal to my tv.

Thanks for the info. I did do a check on the internet for my model and followed  the series of steps they showed to turn on the WiFi. They said if these did not work then it was most likely associated with the wifi adapter module which is known to have problems with older model TV's(like mine). I did a test for linking my cell hotspot to the connection and they said if it did not recognize this as another access point it was a pretty good indication that the problem is internal to my TV.
