I got an email saying I used wrong account number to make my payment last month. Tried to insert new one bill 14 digit account number but bank says not enough numbers. So what do you look up to add bell one bill as a new payee with new account number.

Hey there @Grimshaw

Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.

We invite you to check out the above thread and test the suggestions.

If that doesn't help, please provide more details on the issue you're currently facing including the following details;

  • How are you attempting to enter your online auto payment, via the app or website? If you haven't tried one of the two, please do.
  • If done online via the website, which browser have you tried (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.)? If you only tried one, please try with a different browser.
  • Have you tried using your browsers incognito mode to make the change? If not, please give it a try.
  • What is stopping you from making the change? Please provide the error message and at what step does the error occur.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

I'm having trouble adding Bell as a payee with my bank account. Bell alone is not an option, there is so many to choose from. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks in advance

Good Day & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum.

Thank you for posting your question.

This is a peer-to-peer website. As such, we do not have access to your account & billing details.

Which province do you live in? If you live in Ontario & your account is with Bell, you can pay your bill online by logging in your institution financials application or website & setting up:

BELL ONE BILL - 14 DIGITS as a payee.

Customer ID number
This 14-digit number is needed when paying your bill over the Internet or with telephone banking. You can find this number on the top right corner of the first page of every bill, just above the Account Summary.

If this is easier for you, you can also set up a pre- authorized payment or one-time payment with either your bank account details or credit card on MyBell.

Thank you for your response however in the list of Bell options in my bank account Bell One Bill is NOT an option. I do live in Ontario and I don't understand why it's not listed.

Good Day.

Can you please provide us with name of the financial institution that you wish to use to pay your online Bell account? Have you contacted your banking institution to confirm if they support this type of payment, and what their name would be listed as?

Please tell us more so that we can assist you further:

  • Please double check which Bell company your services are connected to?
  • Which part of the country do you live in?
  • Which services do you have with Bell?
  • Are you receiving your bill from Bell, Bell MTS or Bell Aliant?
  • The name of your financial institution.

If your account is with Bell, you can pay your bill online by logging in your institution financial application or website & setting up:

  • Bell ONE BILL - 14 DIGITS is the payee.
  • Customer ID number. You will also need this 14-digit number when paying your bill over the Internet or with telephone banking. You can find this number on the top right corner of the first page of every bill, just above the Account Summary.

If this is easier for you, you can also set up a pre- authorized payment or one-time payment with either your bank account details or credit card on MyBell.

If your account is with Bell MTS, the following web link will show you how to set this up.

Bell MTS Home Services is the payee for residential services.

If you bill is with Bell Aliant, the following web link will show you how to set this up.

Bell Aliant is the payee.

If your financial institution is not listed, a Bell Forum moderator can forward a request to add your Credit Union to the financial institution list. One thing to keep in mind, any updates to this list may take some time to be corrected.

Please let us know.

Take care.
