What is this?
I got an email on Feb 6th saying my bills due.
The invoice says it's due by Feb16?
10 days to pay my bill? Now I'm late. Hope I don't get charged interest.
What the heck? Aren't most bills due like 30 days after you receive them? Very silly you send an invoice and want the money in 10 days.
Please fix.

I don't know if it is happening to everyone, but I find it extremely ridiculous the payment delay required following the reception of my bill online.
I received my bill by email Today, June 9th, that it must be paid by June 18th. That gives me 7 days to pay since it takes almost two for them to receive through an online bank payment.
It doesn't make any sense. Especially, with digital services, we pay a month ahead.
Already, most credit card companies give you almost 21 days to pay, which is already pretty quick.
Plus, I receive my bill online, imagine by mail and if I paid by check 😱

Thanks for your concern. The core issue is the Canadian banking system, which requires 3-5 days to process a payment. Please also check your billing date. That is the key date when the clock starts, not when you receive the bill. Your payment is due 30 days from the billing date.

Good Day & Welcome
Yes, you are absolutely correct! Please check the billing date on your MyBell account!
Bell must receive your processed payment within 30 days after your due date. How you pay it & & when you pay it are factors that you must consider when paying your bill!
Your account is credited when Bell receives the funds from your financial institution.
Your account is overdue if your bill payment has not been received & credited to your account within 30 days after the billing date on your bill.
This is you due date.
Payments made after the due date are accepted but may not be reflected on your next bill. Late payment fees may apply for payments received after 30 days from the billing date. Bell updates payment information on their system once they receive the funds from your financial institution, which can take varying amounts of time. When & how you pay your monthly bill are within your circle of influence & are not predetermined & set out by Bell.
This timeline can vary from 1 - 18 days. The chart I have included in this reply is only a reference point for you to use. It is intended to allow you sufficient time to pay your bill by the due date.
How long does it take for my Bell payment to be processed?
Should you require further assistance in terms when your bill is due & your billing date, you may need to contact Bell Customer Service Billing & Orders: - 1 866 310-BELL (2355) or #611 from any Bell mobile device.
If we can be of assistance in answering any further billing questions you might have, please let us know.
Thank you for posting your question.
Take care.
