Home Phones ☎

Hi There Everyone! 🙋🏻‍

My name is Juliann 😊. I am in need of a 'NEW' home phone ☎ for my landline service I have with BELL. The phone ☎ I have now, is extremely old (30+ yrs) & has definitely worked hard over the yrs to serve me well!👍🏼😁  But the time has past by & come to the point, when it's just run down, worn out & now it's not working like it used to anymore. So, my question to Y'all is, could anyone here, please kindly tell me whether or not *BELL still sells "landline" phones like they used to do?* I can clearly remember 🤔💭WAY back when they had a BELL store at the Pen Centre mall. It was right by the Sears entrance, where they used to ALWAYS set up for Santa Claus at Christmas🎄. "Yikes!" 😲That's REALLY revealing my age! 🙄😬😱😳LOL! 😄😅😂.  That was when I was just 13yrs old. My Mom & I went to buy a new phone. Let's just say......I'm a few yrs older now. LOL! 😂Anyway, back to my question at hand here. Does anyone know "IF" Bell STILL does sell landline phones? I would genuinely appreciate any help that anyone can offer! I've also tried looking on FB Marketplace. There are actually people selling the phone I DO want to buy there, but the difficult issues are:      • either a Seller is asking way TOO much for the phone☎ that I'm looking for & really want to buy  • Seller lives much TOO far away to p/u phone     • Most of the Sellers are selling Panasonic cordless landlines with ONLY 2 handsets, I need minimum of 3 & actually would prefer 4 units The particular *Panasonic* phone ☎ that I'm interested in, is definitely a vintage type of phone to young people now in days, for sure. It IS a cordless home phone type. Each handset has it's own unit to "stand up" the extension & charge it. Is everyone with me? Does everyone here  understand what I mean & what I am asking?👍🏼👌🏼😁 I mean NO offense to anyone! It's just that IF we are Blessed 🙏🏼to have any *Millennials* here OR perhaps some *Teenagers* with us in this group, I wanted to make sure they knew what THIS "cool, hip, older" lady was talking about! LOL!😁👍🏼  I will be looking forward to hearing back from anyone who possibly has a positive, helpful, good & kind answer for me pls! I again, thank you SO very immensely for ANY assistance that anyone can offer!  This is my very 1st time writing on a "Community Forum", so I was trying my best to get it TOTALLY right! With a tiny bit of humour😂 added for some fun too! Thanks very much to each of you here, for patiently & kindly reading my LONG question!😊 God Bless 🙏🏼you ALL abundantly!        Respectfully & Sincerely yours,

Juliann 😊

Thank you for your question. While Bell stores now sell cell phones, stores such as Walmart may have wireless phones for landlines. Most now have three handsets; the master plugged into your phone jack and two remote sets. You can look on line on Amazon or on the Panasonic web site for what looks like you might like and buy locally if you wish. Avoid Facebook entirely.

Good Day

Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community Forum.

At one time Bell carried a wide variety of land line home phones. These were available for purchase online from Bell, at local Bell store, & through their retail division, The Source.

This is not the case today.

There is any number of reputable suppliers that can meet your needs at a reasonable price. I purchase a Panasonic 5 handset system from Costco. Costco also carries a V-Tech 5 handset system. Both of these manufactures have been in business for many years.

Shop around locally at Staples, Best Buy or online with Amazon, Panasonic eStore, VTech Official Store, etc.

A good quality three to four handset system is not cheap. You are looking at approximately $140.00 - $200.00 + HST.

Take care.

Hi There!

Yes I fondly remember 🤔💭THOSE good ole days when you could purchase the landline phones you wanted from BELL. SSHHH! I'm old enough to remember when ALL of the  telecommunications devices & services were thru BELL alone solely. LOL! 😄😅😆😂Everyone even used to get big, thick *phone books* delivered each year to everyone's homes by BELL. Those phone books listed ALL businesses & people's phone ☎ numbers for any particular city. If anyone "didn't" want their name, address & phone# IN the book, you had to pay extra money besides your regular phone bill for THAT benefit! 😲🙄😬

Anyway, I just wanted to sincerely & genuinely thank you for ALL the REALLY great information you have me provided for me & the truly awesome, helpful advice! I had never knew about the phone that I want & NEED being available at Costco. I don't personally have a Costco membership sadly, but fortunately I DO  have a friend that does. Alternatively, I NEVER knew either, about Panasonic having an e-store. Although, it certainly does make sense though.  I will most definitely BE taking your fabulous advice & looking there On Panasonic's website. Thank you SO very much again, for THAT terrific idea (that my own common sense should have known)!  I'm now feeling REALLY hopeful about that possibility. As for the OTHER options you mentioned, it's always a very smart idea to have a "back-up plan or plan B" as it is said! You have really given me plenty of wonderful help & great advice with your answer to my question Welsh Terrier! I am immensely grateful to you for ALL that help!

I hope that you & ALL your loved 💜 ones have an absolutely fantastic, fabulous, fun 😄 summer 🌞 that is totally enjoyable & SAFE for you ALL!

God Bless 🙏🏼 you!

Respectfully & Sincerely,

Juliann😊
