Why do I have to record my name and the date before accessing my home phone voice mail messages? My sister has Bell and she said she doesn’t have to do this. I’d like this requirement removed.

Hey there @Ruby, thanks for your post and welcome to the Bell Community.
You should only be prompted to record your personal greeting when first setting up your Voicemail, or after pressing the prompts to access that setting.
Just to clarify, is this happening when you try to listen to a new voicemail message?

Yes, every time I listen to new messages it asks me to record my name and date I called.
