Hello everyone,
Looking at the management options within my new Giga Hub, and I don't see any flow control options provided. Does anyone know if flow control is supported on the Sagemcom router, if it is configurable and if not, what the built-in parameters are?

Flow control options are not available.
But, we are interested to know more about what you are trying to do. For example parental control flow control or TCP flow control?

Thanks very much for the additional information.
We've listed a few things below for you to test out.
- “Sagemcom router” 10G port to PC (QNAP switch not in use here)
- “Sagemcom router” 10G port to QNAP 2.5G port and PC to 10G port on the QNAP.
- “Sagemcom router” 10G port to QNAP 10G port and PC to 2.5G port on the QNAP.
Can you try each set-up and share your results with Community?

Interesting situation. The Qnap documentation for that switch shows the following:
Two 10GbE SFP+ ports (supports 10G/1G) enable high-speed network performance.。
So what that means is they link at either 10G or 1G, and cannot link at 2.5G.
So if you plug in a 2.5G ethernet adaptor into it, you will see oddball results like the one you showed, because it will link at 1G for downstream and 2.5G for upstream.
You need to link at 10G with a 10G network adaptor in your PC, if you want to see the full profile speed minus TCP/IP overhead.

@BellPatricia Thanks for the reply! Looking for TCP flow control to throttle packets and prevent bottlenecks. I'm linking the Sagemcom router via the 10GB port to an unmanaged switch that has 2x10GB ports and 4x2.5GB ports (QNAP QSW 2104). The switch has automatic flow control and will turn it on when the router has it, and off if not. I am working with their troubleshooting team, as for some weird reason I'm getting worse speed test results when using the 10GB ports vs. the 2.5GB ports (see attached). They asked if the router had flow control to test out scenarios. I did notice there was a port speed setting, but that did not change anything. A few screenshots:
Router to 2.5GB port, PC to 2.5GB port
Router to 10GB port, PC to 10GB port
I know I'm limited by my 2.5GB NIC, but I would expect the same speeds when connected to both 10GB ports, but you see a severe download limitation that doesn't appear to affect upload speeds. There has to be a flow control issue, hence the question. FYI, all cables are Cat6 and connect at 2500/2500.
Have you see this with other unmanaged switches? If the QNAP is an issue, would anyone have a better recommendation for an unmanaged switch with multiple 10GB ports?
