why my bell modem Giga hub cannot detect my wi-fi connection on my computer

Any error messages on the home hub modem display?

If there are none, run the virtual repair tool which can fix most issue.

If you still have issues specifically with WiFi, you can run the Bell WiFi app which can fix most WiFi issues.

@dks your answer seems to be very innocent:). I know Windows will show all wifi signal that it can read or identify. Compatibility is what I am concerned about. Leave it and no need to be concerned on my topic. Thanks.

Which is why I suggested you contact Dell. Bell supports all current WiFi standards. But even my own iPhone 15Pro and a new Lenovo laptop don't connect at speeds greater than 5Ghz. A failure to connect points to the device itself, not to the modem. Unfortunately specific device support is beyond the scope of the forum.

My husband and son cannot access to wifi with their apple devices while I have no problem on android why? Despite logging in, re setting ondes wifi application nothing stems to work un less we do it wrong.

I have recently switched from Roger’s to bell. Since then I can’t connect my laptop to WiFi. Everything else is connected except laptop. How can I fix the problem?

Can you elaborate & provide us with further information?

Which Bell modem do you have? Which operating system does your laptop use? Have you change the Wi-Fi settings on your laptop? Have you removed your Rogers connection & verified that you are using your Bell Wi-Fi connecting & correct password.

To connect to a Wi-Fi network in Windows 10 or 11, click the network icon in the taskbar, select the Wi-Fi network you wish to connect to, and enter the network password when prompted. If Wi-Fi is turned off, you may need to turn it on first. 

  1. If Wi-Fi is not already enabled, click the Windows button (Start), select Settings, go to Network & Internet, and then Wi-Fi. Toggle the Wi-Fi switch to the "On" position.
  2. Click the network icon in the taskbar. If you don't see the Wi-Fi icon, you might need to click the "Show Hidden Icons" arrow to reveal it.
  3. A list of available Wi-Fi networks will appear. Choose the network you want to connect to.
  4. When prompted, enter the network password (sometimes referred to as a security key or passphrase).
  5. Click "Next" or "Connect" to establish the connection.
  6. If you want your computer to automatically connect to this network when available, check the "Connect automatically" box.

Please check out the following suggestions:

  1. Have you verified that your laptop is up to date with the most current drivers & software?
  2. Do you have a good signal & no interference between your modem & laptop?
  3. Have you tried to do any troubleshooting? Troubleshoot your Wi-Fi and Internet connection
  4. Have you contacted Bell Internet tech support? Please call: 1 866 310-BELL (2355)
  5. Etc.
