I have transferred my TV, Home Phone to another provider. I want to retain my Bell Mail for a few months as I transition to a new email address.
To do this I am prepared to use a slower speed internet and want to downgrade from Fibe 50 to Fibe 25.
How do I do this without the annoying agents trying to upsell me ?

Good day & thank you for posting your question.
As a starting point, have you contacted Bell Customer Service & arranged for your TV & Home phone to be disconnected? You will need to do this initially. This can not be completed online. If you are wishing to downgrade from Fibe 50 to Fibe 25, this can only be completed online only if the option is available for you to do so on MyBell. You can verify this by logging in to your MyBell account. Select > Internet service. Select > Change package. Follow the onscreen prompts.
To cancel Fibe TV & Home phone, you will need to contact Bell Customer Service to arrange for the disconnect & the return of any rental equipment that you might have.
You will need to call: 310-BELL or 1-866-310-BELL (2355)
If you are cancelling your Bell TV service & changing your internet package and you are still within the contract period, you may be subject to early cancellation fees. The amount depends on the service. If your service is cancelled in the middle of a billing period, you will receive a prorated refund for monthly fees billed at the beginning of the billing period that apply to the period after the cancellation of your Bell Fibe TV & Home phone service
If you are currently renting equipment such as TV receivers, you will need to return these to Bell. After your service is cancelled, return instructions will be sent to you by mail within 10 business days. The letter will include a prepaid shipping label for free returns. If you wish to return your equipment prior to receiving the shipping label or if the label does not arrive within 10 business days, visit bell.ca/equipmentreturn.
Note: Do not return your rented equipment to a Bell store.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.
Take care.

Best to contact them directly, as this is a user to user help forum and we cannot help with account questions.
They have a live internet chat option at this location
