Download Bell McAfee on mobile or tablet

I want to download McAfee security on my wireless devices (I dont have a desktop PC/Mac), but from what I have read, I am understanding that McAfee must be installed first on a desktop, and then from there, onto wireless devices.  Did I understand that right?

Hi @TheSwitz,

You don’t have to download the software on your computer. What you will have to do is log into your bell online account and go to your internet page. Scroll down and you should be able to see a “Features” section with option to download Mcafee security. From there you will be directed to a mcafee page where you can download the app for your mobile device or you can email / text yourself a link with activation code.

This will get you the mcafee app on mobile without a desktop computer.

Hey r u using apple devices too? I never find a place to fill in the activation code. It seems like the iOS is separated from Bell's.

Hi AlexS! Sorry I am Getting back to you 3/4 of a year later.  I was on here for a different problem just now, saw this, and saw that my original response didn’t take. 

Yes, infact, I do use Apple products.  It seems like Apple and the rest of the internet would are complete enemies. You can’t do anything on an iOS product app.  The way I get around this is to use a Google search setting and go to the site online (instead of through the app). Thanks for your response. (I was probably using the iOS Bell app for this question - hence no response LOL!).

How do I download the free McAfee Internet Security from Bell for my mobile phone?

McaFee Mobile Security is only available as part of the Bell Better or Best security package. It is included with these versions. The McaFee Security - Good which is free with Bell Internet does not include the mobile version.

You can add or change this feature in MyBell > My services > Internet. There is a monthly charge for the Bell Better or Best packages. I have included the following web links that will explain everything regarding the various McaFee Security packages.

There is no standalone McAfee Security perse to add-on & purchase for your iPhone from Bell Mobility.

Do you have Bell Internet? If you have Bell Internet, McAfee Mobile Security is available & would be included as part of the Bell Better or Best security package. How do I download Bell McAfee on an iPad? I do not get an option of downloading McAfee Security to tablet. Choice of mobile device does not work.
