is it normal for an email to delete from inbox after you have relied to the sender?

I guess the question is how do we get this resolved as it appears to be affecting a number of users.

this is most definitely NOT useful ... as you mention, moving them to folders manually is needed, NOT having to retrieve them from the deleted folder. Thank goodness I didn't have the setting on to automatically delete that folder when logging out, yikes

I am having the same problem and I only use the webmail. When I respond to an email it is automatically being deleted. This just started in the last week. I received error messages saying it could not process the email and then everything disappeared. I finally found the emails in the deleted folder. I spent a lot of time chasing down were they went.

I've been having the same issue with regards to emails being deleted from my INbox when I reply to a sender -- like others this is not useful as I often need the initial email to remain in my Inbox. Also, many times when I try to reply to an email I get an "An Unexpected error" message and it will not allow me to respond to the sender on a particular issue...instead I have to start a new message and respond which results in losing the thread of the discussion.
Also I have noticed that when you type a message often the cursor jumps back up to the top of the message.
Very frustrating last week and a bit.

Today Saturday July 1, Happy Canada Day, it appears as if my email no longer deletes when replied to. I don't know if this is a quirk today, or if they actually fixed something on Bell server side. Whatever, I am happy this bug has been squashed. (for today)

I have two emails I replied to, so I know I had them. Both had attachments. Now when I go back to get the attachments the emails are gone. I definitely did not delete them and they are not in my deleted folder. What is happening? This is terrible!

Hi @SG,
Thank you for reaching out to the Bell Community.
Can you please clarify if you are using Bell Webmail or if you are accessing your email through a third party program (such as Outlook)?
Do you see your replies to those two emails in the Sent folder?

Webmail. Yes, I can see the replies in Sent. But there are no attachments to the Sent emails.
