Hi all, I moved from Rogers a while back and all's good but now I'm looking to see about setting up email. I have Gmail which is fine but I rather also have a bell email if possible. I used to have @rogers.com. so same idea.
I just for the life of me cant find a document on how to set up the email address or where to get going. I see plenty of docs on how to get stuff like outlook going but I need the email account first. How does one get this set up?

I logged into my account to change my email address only to get a message that I don’t have an email address.
I do have an email address and use it daily. Why am I getting this message?

That is a bit odd. I don't use Bell e-mail so I am not really familiar with the exact setup.
I am sure someone else will see this post and chime in with an explanation for your dilemma.

Good Morning & Welcome to the Bell Community Forum
Let's make sure I understand your question.
- You have a bell.net web email address & it is working fine. You are able to log in to Bell Webmail with no problem.
- You mention that you would like to change your email address? Are you trying to change your Bell Webmail address to a different Bell Webmail email address or to a different email address all together, (non Bell) ?
- There are 5 locations in your MyBell Profile that store your email address. Each of them serves a different purpose.
When you login to MyBell using any web browser, you will need to Select > My Profile > Select > MyBell.
- The first stored address location is in the Profile information section: Contact email . This can be any email address that you wish for Bell to contact you at. It does not need to be a Bell webmail address.
- The next email stored location is in Profile Recovery. This can be any email address that you wish for Bell to contact you should you have problems accessing MyBell. It does not need to be a Bell webmail address.
- The next email address is stored in your Billing profile - OneBill : Mobility notifications, data block and number transfer settings. It does not need to be a Bell webmail address.
- The next email address stored location is in your Service profiles - Internet: Manage your Bell email addresses. This includes all Bell Webmail email addresses that you have previously created & saved. You can not add or change an email address from within this location. You can only delete your existing Bell webmail email address or change the password. Bell no longer supplies Webmail email addresses. If you have one, you can continue to use it. It you cancel your internet service & mobile data, your existing Bell Webmail email address is automatically removed & can not be recovered. If you delete your Bell Webmail email address, you can not replace it.
- The last email address stored location is in your Service profiles - Internet: Usage notifications. It does not need to be a Bell webmail address.
Hopefully the information I have provided above has been of assistance in answering your question.
Thank you contacting the Bell Community Forum.
Take care.

@WelshTerrier Thank you for all the info. I’m not sure exactly what @oldnrusty was attempting do but I think it was the same as I was - change a password
I wasn’t trying to delete or create a new email. All I wanted to do was change the password on an existing email address.
In the past I would have don’t this by selecting
> Services
> Internet
> Manage Bell Email addresses and passwords.
Now when I make those selections I get the following message , “You currently do not have a Bell Mail address”. I’m at a loss as to where I can update my email password and understand why I’m getting the above message.
My email address does exist and appears to be working fine.
When did Bell stop allowing users to add email addresses? If I recall, a user could add up to 6 per account. I may be wrong. Been with Bell for a very long time.

@LostGypsy Let's try another approach. Login to MyBell with any web browser. This will open & show you all of your services. that are connected to your MyBell account. Which services do you subscribe to & are all of your services listed on the main screen. E.g. Mobility? TV? Internet? & Home phone? If so, great.
I want you to scroll across the top of the page to My profile & open it & select MyBell. This will take you your MyBell profile. Scroll down to the section on the left called Internet & select this. On the right, you will see a section called: Manage your Bell email addresses. Select the edit button. This will take you to a page: Manage email address. If your email address is associated with your current Internet account, it will be listed. If it is not listed, then it is not linked to your Internet account. Did you by chance have any other Internet accounts or mobile devices with data services that you did use this email address with? Your email has to be linked to an account.
Email address trivia: Bell stopped issuing email addresses approximately 14-15 month ago. Originally, you could have up to 10 email addresses. This was subsequently reduced & was eliminated. Bell webmail started out as sympatico.ca & expanded to bell.net. Sympatico email customers could duplicate addresses with bell.net on a one time basis. In theory, you could have had 10 sympatico.ca & 10 on bell.net
Hopefully the information I have provided will be of assistance in determining where your email address is being sourced from.
Thank you for your quick reply. Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Take care.

Hello again,
I logged into Bell.ca using Safari. All my services are listed. (mobility, tv, internet, home phone)
Followed your steps. Same result. “You currently don’t have a Bell Mail address”.
I have only ever created this one email address on this account. As you pointed out, it does not appear to be linked to this account. Who knows why! Is there a way to link it now ?

Good day
This is now 14 April 2024 , yestuday i had a warning that your systeme was down on web , for maintenance.
so i though it was the reason , but this morning try again , your maintenance message no longer there so i presume everything is fix , what ever that was.
i go the service (Manage your Bell email addresses) which i did in the pass and had no problem , but now i want to creat a new address, even though i have already 5 of them , and this the reason i m going in there is to do some address clean up. they are all working fine , i did some test . but on your website , using my pc to access it and it says the same thing as all the conversation above (Your currently do hot have a Bell Address) and there is no option other then (Manage Marketing preferences or Set up Bell email with other devices and software)
all i want to modify the exiting one or to delete them . so plse dont give me the procedure how to get there , i v been IT for 20 years . i know what i am doing , how about just have a look at that service and if the service has changed , have a popup on your web with the new procidure
Thank you

My main email address is sympatico.ca and at some time later I was able to create a bell.net secondary address for my son. I would like to add another bell.net address but I've completely forgotten how to do it and I can't find the info here nor through the chat. Any help is appreciated.

I've had Bell Internet for years now, but have not activated/setup an email address. How do I get a Bell email address?
