How to access \\mynetwork (USB storage) on Bell Home Hub 4000 from iPad/iPhone

Hi,
Anybody knows how I can use USB drive connected to Home Hub 4000 to extend iPad storage?
Thanks

Update: USB drive needs to be formatted FAT32 (worked for me) and then as per link below you may use Files app and enter ip of the router (192.168.2.1)

The problem with this solution that Photos doesn’t appear as a location on my iPad in the Files app, so you can't move your photos/videos to USB easily (you may copy from Photos to file share and then delete from Photos).

So there is a need in the iOS app that could access both - Photos and SMB share and this would be now an iOS question, not for the Bell forum. But in case you know one please still post your reply, thanks.

Thanks for your question. There are a number of answers to your question in here.

Yes, absolutely. The hard drive is usually connected directly to my laptop. And it works.
I am testing this set up at home so I can set it up at my retail business where literally none of my employees (like my photographer) will reliably backup their data. If the backup disk is on the network, then I can set TimeMachine to automagically backup every time they join the network.
And I'd rather not have to buy an NSA (? or whatever they're called)
Thanks!
